Hi! I'm Katie and I'm here to tell you a little about myself. I'm originally from Maine and came to Boston to complete my undergrad degree at Lasell University where I got my degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. After graduation I had a few different odd jobs but then started working at a large fashion company as a Web Designer. I love style and self-expression; however, I don't love working in fashion. After weighing my options, I decided to start working in something I was more passionate about. During my undergrad I began traveling and it became a huge part of my life. I've traveled to 5 continents and I am planning on going to South America for the first time, hopefully within the next year. Here's a really cool picture of me with a heard of elephants in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe from my trip this summer! The reason I came to school was so that I could have complete control of both elements of UX and Ui design. My goal is to one day work as a creative director for an adventure- based company hopefully lead by strong creative women!
